Who are we at St Andrew’s, Wall Heath?

The congregation is made up of all sorts of people from the local community. We meet to worship God, to share fellowship, and to try to live out God’s mission in the world. We try to get involved in what’s happening in our own area, and we also support international charities such as Christian Aid, Shoebox Appeal, Poppy Appeal, Commitment for Life and a Food Bank.

We’re currently committed to focusing on ensuring we do what we can to take care of the environment and have received our BRONZE AWARD from  eco-church and are a certified Fair Trade Church.

We host a fantastic Coffee Morning, the first Saturday of the month (except January and November) from 10am-12am. It is a wonderful time of friendship with groups of friends coming together for a coffee and a chat and OBVIOUSLY a slice of one of our delicious home baked cakes.

We have a team of elected Elders, who serve the church through decision-making, planning, organising, serving Communion, and in lots of other ways.

All members of the church also have an opportunity to have their thoughts considered at Church Meeting’s on how the church is run, its activities and worship. This is a unique feature of the United Reformed Church, no-one is excluded from these vital decisions. We welcome all visitors to help us identify the needs of community.
